RDCPS2 Series Motor Control and Protection Switch

RDCPS2 control and protective switch is mainly applied to low-voltage power distribution and motor control and protection circuits. Rated working voltage 690V and below, AC 50/60Hz,
rated working current 0.15A ~ 125A.
RDCPS2 is a high-end product with optimized structure, compact, energy-saving, environmentally friendly materials, easy installation and operation; intelligent digital control system, reliable protection, and communication interface, it secure automatic control systems and remote-control systems.
RDCPS2 is a all-in-one switching device with circuit overload, short circuit protection functions, high breaking capacity; it is able to making and breaking the load, long service life, secure and has isolation functions; simplify low-voltage control circuit, improve the reliability of the automation control system, providing a reliable basic component for low-voltage power distribution and motor control circuits.
RDCPS2 is subject to IEC60947-1, EC60947-6-2 standards.

Function and application

RDCPS2 adopt modularized single product structure type, integrated the main functions of traditional low voltage electric appliance of circuit breaker (or fuse), contactor, overload protection relay (or over current, phase failure relay), starter, isolator, motor protector etc. With both remote control and on-site manual control functions, with panel indication and electromechanical signal alarm functions, with over/under voltage protection, with phase missing/phase failure protection, with coordinated Time-Current Protection characteristic (with overload inverse time limit, fixed time-lag, short circuit instant trip, big short circuit instant trip four stage protection characteristic). As per to the requirement to select the functional module or accessories, to make control and protection to various kind of motor load and distribution load

1. Contact System Components

The contact system components are mainly composed of base, substrate, static and dynamic

contact, arc chute cover, flash barrier, transformer, terminal block, and card plate, etc., these are CPS’s main circuit part, it’s base is made of thermosetting injection molding material, meets

both electrical strength and structural dimensional accuracy requirements, stable and reliable,

The transformer is a wide current range protection transformer with high magnetic saturation

current, cascading fixed installation, soft connecting wire through the core, on the upper and

lower terminals of the base , Install flash barrier (serial interval isolating), to improve safety use. The product base is available in two mounting styles, standard rail mounting and fixed mounting.


2. Operating Mechanism Components

Operating mechanism is mainly composed of transmission handle, energy storage spring, jumper, lock, shunt, and split push rod. Compact structure, accurate and reliable action, fast and smooth tripping (tripping mechanism of switch’s manual operation and short-circuit instantaneous).

Integrated shunt release and its micro switch and mechanism, stable connection and secure action;

Hand-operated transmission adopts nicety cast zinc parts with high strength and reliable transmission, ergonomic shape operating handle.

Tight junctions between mechanical parts and the other components.


3. Electromagnetic Operating Components

Mainly used for making and breaking of the switch, DC excitation structure electromagnetic component has AlNiCo, to facilitate quick action and saving energy;

Electromagnetic component and the base are hinged by a hole shaft, fastened connection;

Electromagnet is linked with auxiliary parts, adopting the direct push mode, facilitating and secure action.


4. Auxiliary Circuit Components

Integrated auxiliary control circuit and the auxiliary signal circuit, smooth action with other components, reliable motion control;

Convenient and tidy secondary wiring. Combined terminals of auxiliary switch, alarm and control supply power.


5. Control System Components

Control system component is the CPS’s control and protection center, including

measurement sampling circuit, power supply circuit, display circuit, CPU operation circuit, and control output circuit, etc. Centralized layout of electronic component boards, and is well-connected; plug in/out connections, easy maintenance;
