The contact system of the transfer switch is composed of a number of static contact holders embedded in an insulating shell and a movable contact in a movable bracket. The movable contact is a double-breakpoint butt-connected contact bridge. On a rotating shaft with a handle, the circuit can be connected or disconnected as the rotating shaft rotates to different positions. The positioning mechanism adopts a roller card ratchet structure and is equipped with different limit parts to obtain switches of different gears. The transfer switch is assembled by a multi-layer insulating shell, which can be arranged in three dimensions, reduces the installation area, has a simple and compact structure, and is safe and reliable in operation.
The transfer switch can be composed of switches with different connections according to the requirements of the circuit to meet the requirements of different circuits. In the control and measurement system, the switch can be used to switch the circuit. For example, the power supply switching of electrical equipment, the forward and reverse switching of the motor, the commutation of the voltage and current in the measurement loop, and so on. The use of change-over switches instead of knife switches can not only simplify the control loop or measurement loop, but also avoid operational errors, and also reduce the number of components used.
The change-over switch is a development of the knife switch. The difference is that the upper and lower planes move when the knife switch is operated, while the change-over switch moves on the left and right rotating planes, and it can be made into a switch with multiple contacts and multiple gears.
